Robin & Ben

We had such a fun day shooting in Pasadena. After Darcy and Adam, we met up with Robin and Ben. My favorite time of day to shoot is about an hour before sunset and we hit that window exactly with this shoot! It was such great light - what a treat for me!! I absolutely love that shot of them above. Here are a few of my favorites from the session around town. We loved hanging out with Robin and Ben for the afternoon and can't wait to see them again soon! Enjoy!

Darcy & Adam

This past Saturday, we headed up to Pasadena for a couple of shoots - our first official holiday shoots for the year! After a stop at Sonic on the way up (strawberry limeade, please!), we met up with Darcy and her husband Adam. What a great couple - we had so much fun just running around town! I love Pasadena - there are endless hours of really great shooting locations so we were trying to fit as much as we could into one measly hour! The city has a great mix of old and new, so we shot a little bit of both! We started at the newly renovated City Hall - wow! What a gorgeous building!

And don't miss this AMAZING stairwell - I loved the banisters.

Just across the street from City Hall is a beautiful old church - how cute are these two?

And lastly, you guys know I love me a good weathered brick wall - this one was great and I love these casual shots of Darcy and Adam just hanging out and being them!

What a fun afternoon it was! We loved meeting and hanging out with Darcy and Adam and even finished the night with some A'Float Sushi that was SO good. We'll definitely be back for some more of that!

Check back soon for some highlights from Ben and Robin's shoot coming in the next week or so!

Holiday Photos!

Well, the holiday photo frenzy is just beginning and I couldn't be more excited (almost as excited as yours truly is about the big red present above!)! Although this season keeps me incredibly busy, it's so fun too because I get to hang out with lots of great families and kids.

I am running a holiday photo special this year - check out the flyer below for details or drop me an email and I'd love to chat with you more about it. I tried to come up with some different options for people so there are packages designed for those who just want to order individual prints, people who want to make their own cards, or people who want me to handle the whole card process - designing, printing, etc.

Timeslots fill up quickly so schedule early to be sure that we have plenty of time! I am also planning to be in Nashville for a few days in November for clients back East. Drop me a line and we'll get something scheduled for you!

Happy Holidays (meaning Happy Halloween, Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, and any other holidays coming up over the next few months)!!

Frank & Diane: Engagement

On Thursday, I got a chance to shoot Frank and Diane's official engagement photos! You may remember them from their proposal pictures from earlier this year - Frank surprised Diane with a beach proposal and Adam and I hid in the brush and captured the whole thing. I just love surprises so it was SO much fun for me - you can see a couple of those pics on my website.

I can't wait until their wedding in February, and I'm even more excited now that I got a chance to check out their wedding venue, Oak Meadows in Temecula. Wow! It's a gorgeous venue that's so well-manicured. I can't wait to shoot there again.

So we went out Thursday evening to capture some of the fun lighting and night-time feel of the venue and got some great shots! Here's a sneak peak of a couple of my favorites!
