Back Again

I'm back! After a very busy end of '07 and an amazing Christmas break, we are back in 2008 and I'm so excited about everything that this year is going to bring. I have some really cool things planned for this year that I am so excited for. But first things first - I just checked my editing drive and I have 16 official shoots that I haven't blogged about in addition to some personal work, so I need to get to it!!

I thought I'd start out '08 with a fun one, though I admit to being a little partial since these are some of my best friends in the world! I got to spend some time with Katie and Shae Hinson and FINALLY got to meet their precious little Annabelle who is growing so quickly!


Katie's parents have a beautiful home and it's so fun to shoot there always, so we met up to get some shots of their family together. If you look through the weddings section of my website you can maybe find a couple of shots from their wedding held at the same spot - so cool!

Annabelle is so great - she has the best little laid-back personality and was super chill the whole time - what a cutie!

Can you believe the fall leaves? I promise this next shot isn't fake! The leaves, woodpile, lighting, etc. couldn't have been more perfect!

I'll close with a final shot - it's one of those that makes me tear up a little every time I look at it! We were standing there shooting and Annabelle just turned and buried herself into her mom's shoulder and snuggled in - I just love it!

What a great family that will be changing from a family of 3 to a family of 4 in '08! Congratulations!
